‘ Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don’t matter, and those who matter, don’t mind’ – Dr. Seuss   Growing up I’ve always been athletic- I love to hike, climb, lift, and play whenever I can. So you’d think that’s why I chose to become a massage therapist. Nah. I never actually had a real massage until after I became a therapist. No, I was told I have strong hands. Ah, the power of suggestion. I very much enjoy helping people feel better and I love to learn. Being a massage therapist has allowed me to put both of these loves into action. That’s why I do what I do.
Working for IMR is the perfect fit for my style of massage. When you come in with a specific issue, I can use what I’ve learned from experience and the resources I have here to relieve the pain.

As much as I love my job, my life revolves around my full-time ministry work. I am currently learning the Thai language so I can study the Bible with Thai people in their language. I also volunteer on construction projects, building or renovating places of worship.  When I’m not busy doing these things, I’m traveling.  So there you have it 🙂

Denise Vong

Denise specializes in deep tissue massage, sports massage, injury and rehabilitation, and prenatal. Denise is certified in Rock Tape.

From the ages of 6 to 24, I was a classically trained ballet dancer who evolved into a modern/contemporary teacher and choreographer. My work became more pedestrian, meaning I took casual, mundane, everyday movement and made it aesthetically pleasing. That is when I decided to step out of the dance world to pursue health and wellness for others. I didn’t realize that making this move would catapult me to where I am today. I’m pretty sure that my defining moment happened when I was in high school. I did a physics project on the subject of centripetal force and how it applied to a dancer, specifically a ballerina who was turning “en pointe” (the ballet shoes that allows dancers to dance on their toes). It was by far one of the coolest things I have ever willingly decided to learn!

I’ve since explored as many sports as possible through continuing education in sports medicine and kinesiology. I want to know why people move, what the body goes through when we condition, how we get injured, and what we can do to make the recovery process better. The human body is FASCINATING. It is IMPORTANT for us to take GREAT care of our bodies.

Thomas Steed

Thomas specializes in deep tissue massage, sports massage, stretching, injury rehabilitation, and migraine headache/neck pain relief.

No matter where you are or what you do, seek passion in it. I am passionate about helping people, which is why I’ve been a licensed massage therapist for almost 10 years. Growing up, I always wanted to improve other people lives, whether through massage therapy or in the future as a nurse practitioner.

I’m currently enrolled at Nevada State college pursuing a degree in nursing. I balance my busy life delivering the best massage possible, studying for school, and raising my beautiful 9-year-old daughter Emily as a single parent. If I have the ability to help you, I will. If not, I will point you in the right direction for those who can.

Roxanne Orona

Roxanne specializes in deep tissue massage, hot stone, sports massage/stretching, and plantar fasciitis.

I grew up in Chino Hills, CA and moved to Las Vegas, NV in September of 2007. In November of 2007, my cousin moved in with me so that he could follow his passion for mixed martial arts. I had never been exposed to fighting but now was living the life. Over the coming years, I saw the wear and tear on my cousin and his teammates and wanted to find a way to help them follow their passion with less long term damage. I chose massage therapy and decided early on to focus on athletes. I have been fortunate enough to have worked on professional athletes including Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), Bellator, World Series of Fighting (WSOF), Major League Baseball (MLB) and kickboxing champions from Thailand. I specialize specifically in strikers, grapplers, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu fighters, striking coaches, and kick boxers.

Outside of massage, my passions include working out (TRX total body work outs, powerlifting, and kettlebell work outs), cooking, cosplay, arts and crafts, and Mixed Martial Arts.

“There are two great days in a person’s life-The day we are born, and the day we discover why.”
-William Barclay
I honestly feel as if I was born to help people overcome, conquer, and progress. Since I was five years old, I have been a year-round athlete. I played football in the fall, wrestled in the winter, played baseball in the spring, and am now a fitness competitor. I discovered massage and sports therapy in high school because I needed a quick form of recovery to get back in the game after injuries. Experiencing the beauty of massage, I knew that it would always be a part of who I am, and it eventually became my profession. After graduating from high school, I went to North Idaho College and completed their physical therapy assistant program. I worked as a PTA for three years, but I still craved more knowledge and techniques for injury prevention and recovery. That ultimately led me to become certified as a licensed massage therapist.
My professional passions and specialties include myofascial, deep tissue, FST stretching, injury rehabilitation, and cupping. I will eventually add more modalities to my resume because I wish to help people, especially athletes, perform at their optimal level.
