‘ Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don’t matter, and those who matter, don’t mind’ – Dr. Seuss   Growing up I’ve always been athletic- I love to hike, climb, lift, and play whenever I can. So you’d think that’s why I chose to become a massage therapist. Nah. I never actually had a real massage until after I became a therapist. No, I was told I have strong hands. Ah, the power of suggestion. I very much enjoy helping people feel better and I love to learn. Being a massage therapist has allowed me to put both of these loves into action. That’s why I do what I do.
Working for IMR is the perfect fit for my style of massage. When you come in with a specific issue, I can use what I’ve learned from experience and the resources I have here to relieve the pain.

As much as I love my job, my life revolves around my full-time ministry work. I am currently learning the Thai language so I can study the Bible with Thai people in their language. I also volunteer on construction projects, building or renovating places of worship.  When I’m not busy doing these things, I’m traveling.  So there you have it 🙂

“Within you there is a stillness and a sanctuary, a place of complete healing and rejuvenation.”

I have been fascinated by the healing arts my entire life. My professional background as a performer and teacher of both dance and yoga gives me the knowledge of body mechanics, allowing further assistance in overall health. I began my massage career in 2008 with Cirque du Soleil, working with various athletes and artist, building knowledge in various modalities. No matter where you are or what you do, seek passion in it. I am passionate about helping people, which is why I’ve been a licensed massage therapist for almost 10 years. Growing up, I always wanted to improve other people lives, whether through massage therapy or in the future as a nurse practitioner.

I’m currently enrolled at Nevada State college pursuing a degree in nursing. I balance my busy life delivering the best massage possible, studying for school, and raising my beautiful 9-year-old daughter Emily as a single parent. If I have the ability to help you, I will. If not, I will point you in the right direction for those who can.

Roxanne Orona

Roxanne specializes in deep tissue massage, hot stone, sports massage/stretching, and plantar fasciitis.

I grew up in Chino Hills, CA and moved to Las Vegas, NV in September of 2007. In November of 2007, my cousin moved in with me so that he could follow his passion for mixed martial arts. I had never been exposed to fighting but now was living the life. Over the coming years, I saw the wear and tear on my cousin and his teammates and wanted to find a way to help them follow their passion with less long term damage. I chose massage therapy and decided early on to focus on athletes. I have been fortunate enough to have worked on professional athletes including Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), Bellator, World Series of Fighting (WSOF), Major League Baseball (MLB) and kickboxing champions from Thailand. I specialize specifically in strikers, grapplers, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu fighters, striking coaches, and kick boxers.

Outside of massage, my passions include working out (TRX total body work outs, power-lifting, and kettle-bell work outs), cooking, cosplay, arts and crafts, and Mixed Martial Arts.

“There are two great days in a person’s life-The day we are born, and the day we discover why.”
-William Barclay
I honestly feel as if I was born to help people overcome, conquer, and progress. Since I was five years old, I have been a year-round athlete. I played football in the fall, wrestled in the winter, played baseball in the spring, and am now a fitness competitor. I discovered massage and sports therapy in high school because I needed a quick form of recovery to get back in the game after injuries. Experiencing the beauty of massage, I knew that it would always be a part of who I am, and it eventually became my profession. After graduating from high school, I went to North Idaho College and completed their physical therapy assistant program. I worked as a PTA for three years, but I still craved more knowledge and techniques for injury prevention and recovery. That ultimately led me to become certified as a licensed massage therapist.
My professional passions and specialties include myofascial, deep tissue, FST stretching, injury rehabilitation, and cupping. I will eventually add more modalities to my resume because I wish to help people, especially athletes, perform at their optimal level.

Kyrie Maxfield

Kyrie specializes in deep tissue massage, cupping therapy, hot stone massage, and relaxation.

My interest in massage began when I was very young. My grandmother had back problems, so her chiropractor suggested she incorporate massage into her routine. Working on my grandmother over the years motivated me to become a massage therapist. I especially like incorporating hot stones into my massage routine because they melt away tension, ease muscle stiffness, and increase circulation and metabolism. They provide a deeper, long-lasting result with little of the soreness that may occur with a deep tissue massage. I have muscular sciatica, so I know how to help release that muscle tension and pain.

I am a Board-Certified Massage Therapist (2005). I enjoy learning and growing within the massage industry. I look forward to furthering my education in cupping and CBD massage.

Outside of work I have a family who keeps me busy. I am passionate about knitting, creating works of beauty, and participating in the Society for Creative Anachronisms.

Sarah Shor

Sarah specializes in deep tissue massage, injury rehab, Thai massage, neuromuscular therapy, and shiatsu.

My love of bodywork is firmly planted in both eastern and western massage modalities and techniques, assisting our body’s intrinsic healing process and aiding in the overall wellness of body and mind. Working with people to rehabilitate an injury or manage chronic pain is my happy place. My massage journey started 4 years ago and I have loved everything I have learned and continue to learn about massage therapy and its many benefits. Asking me to name my favorite massage modality is like asking me to name my favorite child, each technique has so much to offer. Nueromuscular therapy and Thai/shiatsu are probably the skills I utilize most often.

I love spending time with my awesome husband and son. I enjoy any type of nature adventure, but bodies of water tend to be my favorite. I also greatly enjoy anything that I can be extremely creative with including painting and cooking.

Amelia Sprague

Amelia specializes in deep tissue, sports massage, CBD massage, prenatal, hot stones, and structural massage.

“The secret to change is to focus all of your energy, not on fighting the old, but on building the new.”
-Socrates
As a Las Vegas native, I have had the joy of growing up around the Red Rock Mountains, Mt Charleston, and
Lake Mead. Having been very active, self-care was always important to my family and I love now being
able to bring my knowledge from personal experience and a thorough education from the Nevada
School of Massage Therapy. I have had the joy of helping others feel better for over 4.5 years with
structural massage and hot stone being a couple of my favorite modalities.
Outside of massage therapy my time is occupied with college, being a student at CSN, and taking my two
dogs out for hikes as often as possible. I also enjoy yoga for my personal recovery after hikes.
