  •   Joining the other reviews on raving on this place!  My husband lives in chronic pain due to his back and working construction.  He was on so much medicine that nothing was working for his pain any longer.  Crystal worked wonders on his back, and he actually came home smiling after a long day of work because his pain was manageable after ONE visit with crystal.  I have him set up for another session soon, and will be going myself! The owner is very kind, recommended who she felt would be best for the situation at hand, got him in on a moments notice, and was with me every step of the way.  Highly recommended, you wont be disappointed!

  •   I was recently in a car accident and experiencing some pain due to whiplash. I knew massage would help, so I took to Yelp to find a local therapist. IMR Massage was a top result, and I decided to book with them (despite their premium prices) based on their glowing reviews specifically for post-accident "medical" massage therapy.

My first visit was an unmitigated disaster - easily the worst massage I have ever received! The "therapist" had a skills commensurate with what I'd expect from a random person off the street. To his credit, he interviewed me about my condition and checked in about pressure preferences, which he accommodated. However, my issue was not the pressure, but his technique. He had only a few moves in his quiver - bluntly rolling a knot in my shoulder back and forth over and over, roughly "plucking" the muscles along my spine against the grain, and rubbing open palms up and down my back. The first two moves became so painful I had to ask him to stop. He then simply rubbed up and down my back for at least 30 minutes - no kneading, no targeted pressure, nothing. I was so shocked and uncomfortable throughout the whole process, I contemplated getting up and leaving. Unfortunately I chose to stay, and ended up in more pain than when I arrived (not "good pain" from grinding things out). When the receptionist asked how my massage was, I took a deep breath and shared that it was a surprisingly painful, disappointing experience. She was very apologetic and offered me a comped session if I would come back for another try, which I accepted.

My second visit was a few days later - and it was great! Michael was my therapist this time around, and he was careful to ask lots of questions, start off slow and gentle, and check in with me throughout the massage. The massage itself was a night-and-day improvement over the first. Michael used several effective techniques that demonstrated his skill as a trained, professional massage therapist. In the end, I felt quite a bit of relief!

I am very grateful for the excellent customer service. IMR took me seriously, and made sure I got what I was looking for. Crap happens - not every service encounter is going to be excellent - but IMR showed their integrity in their desire to make things right.

Would I go back? Yes! Would I recommend IMR? Yes, with one caveat - know your therapist.

  •   I've been to see Matt Navarrette at IMR Massage twice now (for a 60 minute and then a 90 minute session), and both visits were among the best massages I can remember. I'm a long distance runner who works at a computer all day, so both my hips & IT bands and my neck & shoulders are generally a wreck. Matt's technique for deep tissue massage is slow, methodical, and kind of miraculous. He works steadily across the problem areas and manages your time very well. Nothing felt rushed, and I left feeling more loose relaxed than I had in weeks. Cannot recommend him highly enough.

The facility itself is nice, the front desk staff is friendly and efficient, and overall I'm incredibly happy. I just wish I actually lived in Vegas and could take advantage of their membership program. For now, I'll just have to book an appointment with Matt every time I'm in town!

  •   Cannot say enough how wonderful my first visit was! Friendly front desk staff and welcoming front entrance. Love the food and drink options. I've helped manage a spa in San Diego the last few years and was blown away by my massage therapist, Cassandra! She was in tune with every area of my body and you could really tell she cared and was giving me her all the entire session. I wish I could steal her and bring her back with me! Best massage I've ever had (don't tell my therapists back in SD)

Also loved the Lavender CBD additive to the massage. Thank you!!
