  •   Had 30-min upper back deep tissue massage with Crystal. She worked on my knots that cause me pain for years. Pain improved by 50% already after first treatment!
They also give you $10 off on first visit! Will definitely be back.

  •   Joining the other reviews on raving on this place!  My husband lives in chronic pain due to his back and working construction.  He was on so much medicine that nothing was working for his pain any longer.  Crystal worked wonders on his back, and he actually came home smiling after a long day of work because his pain was manageable after ONE visit with crystal.  I have him set up for another session soon, and will be going myself! The owner is very kind, recommended who she felt would be best for the situation at hand, got him in on a moments notice, and was with me every step of the way.  Highly recommended, you wont be disappointed!

  •   Well let me start by saying that this place is amazing Crystal did my massage and she was great. I live  in LA my fiance and I took a trip to vegas and I found this place very convenient they have a lot of staff, booking appointments was very simple online.  Honestly I wish there was a place like this in LA, I've tried so many massage spots here in LA  and for some reason they always give a thai massage even when I ask for swedish.  I this case it was very different Crystal is a professional and gave me an amazing swedish massage, my bf was so happy with his aswell.  If could give them 10 STARS I would. Anytime I take trip to Vegas I will definitely make time to go back.

  •   Let me start out by saying I have been practicing as a massage therapist for 11 years, and I have a very temperamental body that requires a thoughtful and skilled therapist.  Many times I hesitate to get worked on because while I can take deep work, my joints shift out of place easily, and I cant have certain techniques performed around specific areas. Its hard for many therapists to find a balance.  However imr has such glowing reviews and my body has been needing to get unlocked badly.  I wanted to finally try cupping because I know it can be a great way to release fascia, and this is what they specialize in.

The space is modern and inviting. The prices are also competitive considering they have seasoned massage therapists who are trained in more advanced deep work.  Denise was my massage therapist, and her background in dance also gives her another layer of understanding in the human body. She does a very thorough intake, and listened to all my quirks.  When I let her know I could take pressure she had no problem adjusting, and I was given one of the best massages I have had in a long time. She is methodical and thoughtful in her approach and the cupping really helped release my upper carriage of my body.  I am so glad this location is down the road, and I will start getting back into receiving regular body work again.

  •   I was recently in a car accident and experiencing some pain due to whiplash. I knew massage would help, so I took to Yelp to find a local therapist. IMR Massage was a top result, and I decided to book with them (despite their premium prices) based on their glowing reviews specifically for post-accident "medical" massage therapy.

My first visit was an unmitigated disaster - easily the worst massage I have ever received! The "therapist" had a skills commensurate with what I'd expect from a random person off the street. To his credit, he interviewed me about my condition and checked in about pressure preferences, which he accommodated. However, my issue was not the pressure, but his technique. He had only a few moves in his quiver - bluntly rolling a knot in my shoulder back and forth over and over, roughly "plucking" the muscles along my spine against the grain, and rubbing open palms up and down my back. The first two moves became so painful I had to ask him to stop. He then simply rubbed up and down my back for at least 30 minutes - no kneading, no targeted pressure, nothing. I was so shocked and uncomfortable throughout the whole process, I contemplated getting up and leaving. Unfortunately I chose to stay, and ended up in more pain than when I arrived (not "good pain" from grinding things out). When the receptionist asked how my massage was, I took a deep breath and shared that it was a surprisingly painful, disappointing experience. She was very apologetic and offered me a comped session if I would come back for another try, which I accepted.

My second visit was a few days later - and it was great! Michael was my therapist this time around, and he was careful to ask lots of questions, start off slow and gentle, and check in with me throughout the massage. The massage itself was a night-and-day improvement over the first. Michael used several effective techniques that demonstrated his skill as a trained, professional massage therapist. In the end, I felt quite a bit of relief!

I am very grateful for the excellent customer service. IMR took me seriously, and made sure I got what I was looking for. Crap happens - not every service encounter is going to be excellent - but IMR showed their integrity in their desire to make things right.

Would I go back? Yes! Would I recommend IMR? Yes, with one caveat - know your therapist.
