  •   The high reviews from IMR piqued my interest. I visited their website to do a little research and scheduled an appointment online. I think their online scheduling system is organized and user-friendly; the process was simple and straightforward. My visit was about a couple of weeks ago.

    Let's start with the good...

    The facility is clean, well-decorated and gives off a relaxing vibe. They offer infused water and tea in the waiting area. When I used their restroom, I saw that they had a shower with robes, towels and wash cloths.

    Treatment rooms are spacious. My room had an air purifier and oil diffuser. The lighting was fixed on a dim setting and the music was pleasant and tranquil.

    Based on his background and glowing reviews, I chose to schedule an appointment with Matt. He is amazing--  an extremely skilled and knowledgeable massage therapist. I read his background on the website and was impressed with his training. He was personable and genuinely interested in my reasons for acquiring massage therapy. He listened and made adjustments to treat my specific problem areas. He used deep pressure, based on my request, and did not hold back. His pressure remained the same throughout the entire session. At other places, some massage therapists appear 'weaker' as the session gets closer to the 60 or 90 minute mark - not Matt!

    Areas of improvement:

    Front desk employee's customer service and organization skills. I was greeted when I walked in with a rushed, "Hi!" When I introduced myself, she responded with a short, "I know." Then asked me if I needed to use the restroom.

    As I walked back to the front (after my session) to pay, I inquired about their membership program. I wanted to compare it to the one I already have with another company. She did not explain it - she said that she would email me. Really? Wow! The place was completely empty.

    That's not the worse part...I never got an email.

    I've done consulting before and it's so sad when business  owners don't realize how their employees behave when no one is looking. The front desk position is an extremely vital part of the business. The person you hire is the 'face' of your company. They have the first and last encounters with your clients; therefore, their customer service skills should be solid.

    5 stars for Matt and his superb skills, but 2 stars for the front desk (I don't want to ruin IMR's high rating so gave them a 4). Her interactions and customer service skills are below average. The pricing is a little above average, so I expected better. I still would come back because of Matt, but I hope that IMR can train their employees to be more hospitable. How many more memberships are slipping through the cracks because your employee didn't care to follow up or explain the program?

    Overall, I still think this is a great business. They have a unique set of offerings: Kinesiology Taping, Therapeutic/Sports/Medical Massage, Assisted Stretch Therapy, Cupping and Infared Sauna treatments

  •   I had an amazing experience today with Duffy! I wanted to find a massage place that I could go to that didn't have the feeling of a franchise massage place. More of a local feeling! I had been advised of this place a few times before and I'm so happy I finally gave it a try. I've had a strained muscle that has been making breathing painful and I finally got some relief today.   Duffy has magic hands and the expertise and experience to make you feel comfortable and in good hands. We talked just enough they I felt comfortable but also got to relax. All around such a great experience. I did a sports massage with an add on of Cbd, it was the best ever. Self care is something that is hard for me to find time for, just like the rest of the world I have a busy job and a family that jam packs my schedule but I'm so excited for my visit next month!

  •   I haven't had a massage this great in years!

    Prior to my therapeutic massage at the beginning of March, I was getting migraines more often than I usually do. I tried everything from CBD lotion, yoga, keeping my sleeping schedule in check, drinking lots of water, avoiding trigger foods to taking Excedrin. Unfortunately, none of it was working. So, after doing some research, I decided to schedule a massage and if that wasn't going to work, I was considering acupuncture.

    However, upon receiving my massage from Roxanne, my migraine instantly went away. She definitely puts the rest in stressed! Fortunately, but unfortunately, Roxanne understands the pain I suffer from migraines because she gets them as well. She did an awesome job of focusing on my tense areas (probably the root cause of my migraines), which were mainly my shoulders, upper back and neck. Her pressure was constant throughout the entire massage and she even stretched my neck out.

    After waking up the next day with my neck, shoulders and back feeling less tight and significantly better, I was set on scheduling a massage for my birthday this month. However, with all the COVID closures, I'm going to have to wait a little longer. Which is fine because IMR is totally worth the wait.

    Trust me. You need them to knead you.

  •   Best massage place you can go to. I came about 10 minutes late and they still gave me all I needed for the massage. I had upper back pain and scapular pain for a couple months and IMR massage fixed it right up. I am so grateful for these people. The staff are nice and will assist you with any of your needs. I highly recommend coming in with a friend just so you can get different opinions, but I promise you it will be worth your money.

  •   My first visit here was phenomenal. Setup an appointment with Cassandra online (totally random, just based upon availability from the website scheduler tool), and once I checked in my appointment started right on time. She briefly consulted me about what I'd like to have work on, if I had any lingering health issues she needed to be aware of and any problem spots I had.

    Explained I'd come back from a long 12 hour flight and my neck and shoulders have been jammed ever since. Long story short, she was incredible. I've never had a massage therapist doing more for my neck than she has. She treated a few spots I didn't even know were pressure points, and totally got the knots out of my shoulders and back. I left feeling like an entirely new person. Highly recommend that you ask for her by name. I'll definitely be back. Thanks Cassandra!!
